No Doubt,Tiger Woods Endorsements Are Safe

Posted in Uncategorized  by admin
November 30th, 2009

The car accident happened on Tiger Woods on Friday afternoon has coursed wild public concern, all new reports about him followed fast, such as Tiger’s alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel(photo enclosed) etc. Now, people are doubting whether Tiger Woods endorsements are safe.

The 2009 Sports Illustrated Fortunate 50 List reported that Tiger Woods’ total earnings were down about $28 million last year, but for the sixth-consecutive time he topped the list by bringing home an estimated $99,737,626. To put that number in perspective, Phil Mickelson came in a distance second with and estimated $52,950,356, while LeBron James is is reported to have made $42,410,581.

As CNNMoney’s David Goldman wrote in an excellent article Monday afternoon, Tiger’s sponsors are standing by him, and will likely continue to do so. Here’s why: Tiger has not been formally charged with anything. Tabloids and pundits are writing that Woods needs to address the rumors that are swirling around the Internet, but legally, Tiger is not required to speak to anyone.

With that in mind, why should companies like Nike, Accenture, AT&T, Tag Hauer, Gillette, and Gatorade even consider changing, or ending, their relationship with the man who is one of the most iconic figures in sports?

Sure, if the circumstances surrounding Woods’s car cash change in the coming days or weeks, companies might reconsider their association with Tiger accordingly. But as Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Kim Montes said in a statement, “Contrary to various media reports, the Florida Highway Patrol has not made any comments regarding the details of the ongoing crash investigation involving Tiger Woods as it relates to medical information, or any other aspect of this investigation.”

So don’t look for Fortune 500 companies to start changing their marketing plans simply because Tiger Woods is the target de jour of tabloids. And to Tiger’s fans, stand by Tiger as usual.

No Doubt,Tiger Woods Endorsements Are Safe

The Florida Highway Patrol has announced clearly that Tiger Woods’ one-car accident is still under investigation, some media reports on the details of that investigation are incorrect.

“Contrary to various media reports, the Florida Highway Patrol has not made any comments regarding the details of the ongoing crash investigation involving Tiger Woods as it relates to medical information, or any other aspect of this investigation,” Florida Highway Patrol Sgt. Kim Montes said.

So far, Woods has declined three times to speak to police about the accident near his home early Friday evening, and speculation on the circumstances of the crash is rampant in the traditional media and on the Internet. While the Florida Highway Patrol does not indicate any particular report or media outlet as incorrect, the statement appears directed at TMZ.com’s report earlier Monday that investigators are pursuing a search warrant to review Woods’ medical records from Health Center Hospital in Ocoee, Fla., where Woods was treated after the accident. TMZ now says that police have not formally sought a warrant, but that investigators are still pursuing one. TMZ also reported that two Florida Highway Patrol troopers visited Health Center Hospital on Monday.

The Florida Highway Patrol said that charges in the accident are “pending” and that the police will not be available for in-person interviews with media outlets.

Montes said that at this time, the agency has not scheduled a press conference, and the FHP is not conducting any on-camera, recorded or telephone interviews. All updates would be sent via email.

medicus review
Medicus Review – Is This Contraption A Scam?

Turn on the Golf Channel and your bound to see a Medicus Golf info-commercial. Mark O’Meara and Camilo Villegas both seem to be sporting major woodies as they preach about this floppy hunk of steel…

So are these 2 dudes legit or just collecting a paycheck from Medicus Golf?

When I went to my local pro shop I was a little put off by the price, $149.00.
(especially when I could try it risk free online for $39.95 and free shipping)

So I asked the club pro if I could test the medicus driver out risk free

He said sure, but if you break it you own it!
(I said to myself, “doesn’t sound very risk free if you ask me”)

But I digress…

At first I thought this thing would break in two…

So I gingerly began to swing this medicus “hittable” driver trying desparately not to break it(especially after the guy behind the counter snarled at me about not breaking it).

After swinging the medicus driver a few times I was shocked at how heavy it felt…

It took me about 15 minutes before I learned how to swing the Medicus without it breaking (I guess I had some flaws in my swing) :)

Here’s more…

After I felt confident I could swing this thing without the hinges breaking – I began to whack some balls with it…

This Medicus thing-a-ma-jig began to feel like it was swinging itself – I kid you not!

Each shot was actually coming right off the screws, shot after shot.

It’s true the Medicus Driver can be a bit spendy, I was put off by the cost as well…

Then I began to think – lessons from that loud mouth down the road costs my humble golfing community $150 for 5 sessions… with a 2 week waiting list – not the kind of instant feed back I was looking for…

You know what, maybe this funky little thing might be a good investment in my golf game…

Then I said to myself “I pay a lot of money to play this frustrating and humbling game of golf, why not play my best?

The Medicus Driver also comes with golf tips videos and a putter training aid that teaches you to rock the shoulders, the proper way to putt.

Make sure you buy this baby from the Medicus Golf site, you’ll get FREE shipping and it will ship within 24 hours.

Don’t make the mistake my bud made and buy the Medicus Driver on Ebay or Craigslist – You might not get the bonuses and shipping time could take forever.

Also, if you have order issues with any of these non medicus golf sites, are you sure they will be taken care of??…

Something to think about…

Play well.

Italy has achieved a complete triumph in the World Cup. Followings are some characters that help them to win.

Teamwork

Just as in the Ryder Cup and other team events, the World Cup calls for slightly different skills from sportsmen who are more used to concentrating on their own game and nothing else. Runners-up Graeme McDowell and Rory McIlroy have formed a strong bond in the last couple of years that has served them well in recent events – and is already being viewed as a possible Ryder Cup partnership of the future by captain Colin Montgomerie.

So, too, could Team Molinari.

Although they are brothers, the family link is no guarantee of on-the-course compatibility (indeed two brothers I learned the game with would often go at one another in a very un-brotherly fashion; a strong team is the last thing they were).

But the two Italian brothers have proved that they have the humility to accept lesser roles when it is called for within the partnership.

When Edoardo’s 2005 US Amateur win earned him a spot at the 2006 Masters, Francesco happily carried his bag. Similarly when Francesco’s career took off (just weeks after the 2006 Masters when he claimed the Italian Open) and Edoardo’s stalled a little, the latter simply worked harder rather than sulked about his brother’s new-found success.

Francesco Molinari

Winning habit

Francesco has earned the reputation as one of the European Tour’s finest ball strikers over the last four years and his consistency has seen him rise to 37th in the World rankings. However his putting is a weakness which explains why he hasn’t added to that 2006 Italian Open title.

Edoardo, on the other hand, has claimed many wins, but achieved them all on the lower rungs of the professional ladder. He won twice on the Challenge Tour in 2007, added another three wins this year and then also triumphed in the Dunlop Phoenix event in Japan two weeks ago.

Edoardo’s winning habit may have helped Francesco over the line and now he has tasted success again it may not be long before he does it on his own for a second time.

The back nine

For much of the week the event was a birdie-fest with the Irish team scoring 58 on the first day and Italy getting back into the event on the third day with a 61.

But as the three leading teams hit the back nine on Sunday, playing in the trickier foursome (alternate shot) combination finding the bottom of the cup suddenly became a more difficult proposition.

Italy played the last 11 holes in four-under par, the only team to maintain their momentum. The Irish stalled completely to play the back nine in one over whilst the Swedes could only manage one under the card.

No Doubt,Tiger Woods Endorsements Are Safe

After the car crash, Tiger Woods, in need of a well-earned rest, flew off to Nepal. But like any golfer on holiday, he had of course to try the local links – a mountainous course situated high in the Himalayas.

The club was delighted to welcome him but desolated that they couldn’t provide a caddie as the Sherpas who usually attended were on an Everest expedition. However, they assured him they could provide a yak who would serve very well instead.

“Sahib Woods,” assured the secretary, “this animal is of inestimable value but you have to watch out for him as he does like to sit on golf balls. It is, however, no problem as you have merely to reach under him and remove the ball. The yak will then continue on with the caddying.”

Forewarned and only slightly perturbed, Tiger set out. Over the first eight holes he had only had to remove the ball from beneath the sitting yak twice. Then on the ninth hole he had to drive the ball blind over a rocky outcrop. The yak took off after it and Tiger followed the yak. He caught up with it beyond the rocks. It was sitting in a water hazard – right up to its neck.

Tiger stripped off and dived in the icy water to rescue his ball. He groped around under the yak but could not feel it at all. He surfaced, took another deep breath and tried again. Still nothing. Almost frozen, he tried again but with the same result. Finally he gave up and frozen to the bone made his way back to the clubhouse.

“Hey fella, what’s going on?” He explained to the secretary how he had dived three times for his ball but that the yak refused to move. He told the man how he couldn’t find his ball and was almost frozen to death in the process.

“And” he went on ” that bloody yak is still sitting out there in the water hazard”

“Oh a thousand apologies”. The secretary was very apologetic, “I forgot to tell you. The yak also likes to sit on fish” .
