Getting the Most from Golf Lessons

It’s not easy asking for help, but in golf, it’s pretty much a requirement. Unfortunately, we frequently involve our buddies and partners, when in reality we ought to take a lesson or two.
We believe that a professional would critique harshly, but they’re honest, positive and really helpful.  Lessons at the local golf course aren’t as expensive as you might think and they’re worth it because your game
will improve rapidly and cause you less frustration, making golf a  much more enjoyable experience for you.

Of the most important thing is being honest about your game.  Don’t pretend your better then you are, let the golf pro know so he can help you.  The Pro will enquire you what you want to start with; driving, chipping, putting or whatever you feel you
need assistance with.

Listen carefully and follow the instructions. You might have questions if the Pro alters your stance, your grip or your swing; the Pro knows best.  Don’t hesitate to ask questions. Don’t worry yourself  if
the question or concern you have is in the stupid-they’ve heard it all before category and will make you feel like an idiot for you’re not getting it. You should never walk off from
a lesson with unanswered questions.

You can focus on one thing during a lesson, or several. You may start with a lesson in driving; get the correct grip, the correct stance, the correct swing, the
Correct follow-through in one lesson, and then practice it. Next time, you might work on your short game, or putting.

You’ve invested in the equipment, doesn’t it make sense to learn how to use them to their advantage and improve your abilities?

For the average golfer, there are a number of reasons why the golf scores never improve. One of the biggest reasons is the golf slice. Correcting a golf slice is something people try for years to overcome, yet most fail. Why is this? Is it because some don’t have the ability? Is it extremely difficult?

In reality, the problem is that the recreational golfer refuses to get help. Despite spending thousands of dollars on expensive golf clubs, balls and green fees, the golfer will go on slicing the ball for years.

Today that ends!

Quickest way to correct a golf slice

The quickest way to correct a golf slice is to watch your club face. First, take a wristwatch and put it on upside down, where the face of the watch is facing out on the underside of your wrist. Now when you swing, make sure that at all times, you can see the face of the watch. Usually a slicer will turn his wrist the wrong way. If your watch is facing the ground, your swing is off. At all times during the swing, you should be able to see the wrist watch.

Next, make sure that your right wrist is on top of your left wrist at the point of impact. If you are slicing, you probably aren’t rolling your right wrist over. This can feel extremely unnatural, but it is crucial. At the point of impact, your right wrist should be on top of your left, not vice versa. If you are rolling the right wrist over the left, than you can be sure that you are closing the face of your club.

How can I get more help?

There are two main ways you can get help in correcting a golf slice.

The first is by learning exactly what you’re doing wrong and correcting it. For instance, you may be gripping the club too tight, despite everything else being ok. You might find that with a simple adjustment in your grip, your slice problem goes away. So it might not take a major adjustment in your swing to correct the problem.

The second way to get help is by getting as much information as possible.  That is why articles such as this one, can do so much good.  Please follow more of my articles designed to help you.  One of my most popular articles that many people have enjoyed is found here!

Ask anyone under the age of 50 about Nike and they will inform you that Nike have a great line in shoes and clothing.

Yes Nike clothing has been specially designed as sportswear, but, to the fashion conscious younger generations; if Nike clothing is good enough for sports people , be that footballers, rugby players, golfers or athletes, then it is good enough to be worn out on the streets.

Nike golf clothing has been created to offer golfers the freedom of movement that is required of their clothing to ensure that the material does not impede golf shots.

Nike’s Dri-fit range of polo/golf shirts are designed to draw moisture away from the body and to the surface of the material, where it, quickly, evaporates. This range is available from men, juniors and ladies and comes in a huge array of sizes and colours and would look just as good off the course as it would on.

Nike wind wear clothing has been created to offer resistance when playing the game in windy conditions. Made from materials, which keep golfer’s bodies protected from the chilly winds, but, are breathable so that the golfer will not overheat. Thermal tops, sweater vests and lambswool sweater gives the golfer a smart casual appearance, whilst offer the maximum climate protection.

Nike would look great teamed with any dri-fit polo shirt, giving a well dressed appearance and offer Nike’s legendary clothing quality.

Nike’s Tech Element clothing combines a ventilation system to increase the air flow over the body, so not only can you look cool, but, can keep cool, too.

Nike Course Condition clothing has been designed to deal with the differing weather conditions found during the golfing season and are well able to cope with our, sometimes less than favourable, British climate. Getting the Most from Golf Lessons

Nike are leaders in so many fields of sport, with their apparel, footwear and sporting equipment and by 1986 they had turned their attention to golf.

Nike, primarily, concentrated on golf clothing and shoes, but, by 1998 they had produced their first golf ball and in 2002 Nike Golf introduced forged blade irons and wedges, as well as, titanium drivers.

Nike have had a hard time winning over the traditionalists, but, there is a whole generation of young golfers, who have grown up knowing and trusting the Nike name and, who are willing to accept Nike Golf based on their products capabilities rather than  how long Nike’s association with golf has been.

Admittedly, Nike’s first ventures into golfing equipment were, perhaps, not a huge success, but since that time Nike Golf’s strategy has seemed to be; if it doesn’t work, get rid of it and if it does work, improve it.

The pedigree of Nike clothing and shoes were never in any doubt, but, in 2002 when Tiger Woods switched golf balls to Nike Precision Tour Accuracy and, then, went onto win 3 Majors that season, Nike Golf  equipment received a significant boost to its golfing credibility and announced its intentions as a key player in golfing equipment manufacturing.

In 2000 Tom Stites joined Nike as its top golf club designer and, whilst, some may question Nike’s golf pedigree, no such questions can be asked of Mr Stites, who learned his trade at the legendary Ben Hogan Company, and brought with him a reputation for creating tour quality golf clubs.

Fast forward to 2009 and Nike Golf sponsor some of the leading lights in golf and many of the up and coming talents: Tiger Woods, Trevor Immelman, Paul Casey, Anthony Kim and Michelle Wie. Tiger Woods has, even, played a part in the development of Nike’s Victory Red golf clubs.

Today, Nike Golf are winning over some of those traditionalists to their side and have convinced younger golfers, who are very familiar with Nike’s qualities in other sporting arenas, that Nike are a name to trust in golfing circles, too.

Golfbuyitonline offer a whole range of Nike products from golf clubs, golf balls, stand bags, gloves, as well as, golf shoes and clothing, too.
